The Legal Accountability Project Wins Ms. JD Limitless Leadership Award
The Legal Accountability Project (LAP) is honored to receive the Limitless Leadership Award from Ms. JD in recognition of our pathbreaking work to advance gender equity in the legal profession.
“LAP has single-handedly sparked systemic change in the legal profession and judiciary, to the benefit of women law students and women lawyers nationwide, in the face of significant headwinds and legal profession-wide intransigence and fear. LAP is the only significant positive change in the judiciary since the #MeToo Movement. The legal profession is better for LAP’s work, and LAP is proud to inspire and empower women law students and lawyers to carry on our work,” said LAP’s President and Founder Aliza Shatzman, who was also recognized on Ms. JD’s Limitless List as one of several early-career female attorneys driving change, advancing gender equity in the profession, and empowering women in law.
In addition to LAP’s innovative and award-winning Centralized Clerkships Database, which empowers clerkship applicants with candid information about judicial workplaces, LAP also empowers female law students and attorneys to advocate forcefully for change, and lets those suffering in silence from workplace mistreatment know they are not alone. LAP’s pioneering work will undoubtedly benefit countless female law students, law clerks, and lawyers. LAP is proud to create a more accountable and equitable judiciary and legal profession for future generations.
LAP is honored to be among this year’s award recipients and congratulates our fellow awardees. More information about the Limitless Awards can be found on Ms. JD’s website.
