A Conversation on Clerking and Judicial Accountability with Aliza Shatzman, Founder and President of the Legal Accountability Project

Join ACS, YLW+, and the Title IX Student Advocates for a conversation on clerking and judicial accountability with Aliza Shatzman, the President and Founder of the Legal Accountability Project. In March 2022, Ms. Shatzman submitted written testimony for a House Judiciary Subcommittee hearing about the lack of workplace protections for judiciary employees, detailing her personal experience with harassment and retaliation by a former DC Superior Court judge. The conversation will center on Ms. Shatzman and LAP's ongoing efforts to increase transparency around clerkship experiences by democratizing information around judges. Students interested in clerking will find the conversation particularly valuable!
